It's been a bit. And in baby terms, that's like a few lifetimes.
I know all your kiddos are getting big. So many of you have brought new and beautiful humans into the world. And many of you are working on bringing more in. We will have TWO sets of twins in this group (mind blown), and I'm sure many of you are not quite finished growing your families.
You are all so amazing. But you already knew that. You also probably know that this chapter of your life is one of the most challenging ones you'll experience, as well as one of the most rewarding and fulfilling ones.
I've been thinking how we, as mothers and women, live in so much dichotomy (the AND), yet we don't acknowledge all that comes with that:
This is so fulfilling AND I'm exhausted.
I love these humans more than words AND I could really use some space and silence.
I couldn't ask for anything else in life AND I yearn for more.
I want to be there for my kids and not miss any special moments AND I want to unleash my creativity and passion to the world.
It's a lot to hold and live in everyday. But it's a wonderful way that your soul lets you know, even in the thick of things, you're still YOU. You have desires, needs and SO MUCH to offer to this world -- far beyond the walls of your homes.
During these cold and snowy winter months, I have been taking time to listen to my soul's whispers (let's be real, sometimes they were more like screams). Accepting the dichotomy of my desires and needs have been hard. Be present for your boys AND rest, heal, grieve AND put yourself out there to share you story and passion.
So here I am. Tending to the voice of my soul. Stepping into a complete unknown. Being wholeheartedly inspired by each of you. Motherhood will always be near and dear to my heart - the fate of our world literally depends on the new humans you bring into it.
But I'm ready to expand.
So I'm opening my offerings and community to all the women who bring the magical matriarchal power into our world. The women who birth not just humans, but new ideas and change; those who are walking their own path of transformation, growth, connection and healing.
But I know from experience that this path is not the easy one to take - to do the inner work and still show up in everyday life is really hard. I have learned that no matter what comes up though, there will always be time for me. And when there isn't, it's time to take a look at my life and make some changes.
Of course, there are exceptions - I get that on a very deep level. But on a regular everyday basis, there has to be time for you. You are the roots deep inside the ground that can't be seen, but are quite literally required to sustain life and beauty of the plant itself. These roots need to be watered!
So, I am committed to finding a way to make the watering process sustainable in the midst of life. I want women to understand how to embody and transfer any level of inner work they're committed to into their everyday lives.
Our connection and work over the last year was everything for me. I will be forever grateful to you and your little ones. We all found each other for a reason, and you will always hold a special place in my heart. My one wish when I started Motherhood Collective was that I could help mothers add even one new person to their tribe. I hope I was able to help you do that.
If it resonates with you, my wish is that you'll step into this next chapter with me. But if it doesn't resonate with you, that's completely okay. Please know I am always here.
If you're interested in continuing to follow me, I've updated the Motherhood Collective Instagram account to @journeythroughbliss. If you were already following, you shouldn't have to do anything. I plan to keep the Motherhood Collective Facebook page open for a bit to keep the community updated on there as well.
I'm also launching my very first program, called Uplevel (nervous gulp). It's a four week journey with container-based support, that runs from April 7-May 4. It is all online and designed with the flexibility required to integrate into mom life. But it still has personal touch points that are optional (you all know I can't not have those). Please check it out for more information if you desire!
Also, any love you can spread to those in your life that you think could benefit from this would be one of the best gifts I could receive.
Sending love to you always momma,
Court
